Article and Reviews: 10/2 NY Times Art & Design

I picked the article "Museum & Gallery Listings for Sept. 26-Oct. 2." I am graduating this December and before I go back to Korea, I will travel New York about a week. This article only gives listings of museum and gallery between September 26 to October 2, but I think, if I have knowledge about various kinds of museums and galleries, I am able to visit one of the places when I go to New York. I am pretty sure there will be other exhibitions by the time I get to New York.
And it is really happy to see that one of Korean artists, Nam June Paik, is having his exhibition and it gets to introduce through NY Times Art & Design.

Article and Reviews: 9/25 Conscientious

I read the article "The Ethics of Street Photography." This article was written by Joerg Colberg. It talked about the ethics of photography. It grabbed my attention, because I am really related to this issue based on my major and minor; Radio-Television and Journalism. I had to shoot a lot of events for my assignment and I always considered and worried about if I have the problem with the people's ethics that I am shooting.

Article and Reviews: 9/18 Lenscratch

For this week's article and reviews, I picked 'CSU Summer Arts at California State Monterey,' written by Aline Smithson. Students were allowed to explore four courses, which were light & color, storytelling, printing, and editing & presentation. Under the article, there are many photos from the CSU Summer Arts at California State Monterey.

Article and Reviews: 9/11 Glasstire

I went through Glasstire.com's events and news that they have on their blog. I saw the event called 'Where are you from?' This event title grabbed my attention to click and see what it is. 'Where are you from?' is one of the most asked questions while I am staying in the United States. I guess, probably, this is the reason it made me click. The subject of 'Where are you from?' is Palestinians within Israel, worked by Kamal Aljafari, Aissa Deebi and Dor Guez. And it will be curated by Noah Simblist.
